| Description: | The estate is located in the commune of Soussac, in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers, on the high plateau of the range that divides waters between the Dordogne and the Garonne, covering 100 hectares. Eighty-five hectares are dedicated to vineyard, since inception, the estate has adopted a balanced approach to viticulture, avoiding the use of chemicals wherever possible. Entre-Deux-Mers is the largest region in Bordeaux. It is a countryside of picturesque hills and plateaus. The diversity of favorable soils, predominantely clay-limestone, makes it ideal to mature wisely selected grape varieties. The median age of the wines 25 years for the white, 45 years for the reds. One third of the vines are white varietals and two third are red. The estate maintains a winemaking capacity of 10 000 hectoliters. The wines are bottled at the Château. |
