| Description: | Manufacturer's Notes: Triple distilled for extra smoothness, our blend is a choice of the finest Irish malt and grain whiskeys. Aged in two cask types; firstly Bourbon Barrels giving the whiskey its smooth warmth and secondly in Olosoro Sherry Casks for those unique fruity notes and spice synonymous with the Whistler. Cask Type No.1: Bourbon Barrels. We use first fill bourbon barrels to give our blend its butterscotch sweetness and caramel tones. Cask Type No.2: Oloroso Sherry Casks. Sourced from the heart of Spain's sherry country, our blend absorbs the fruity qualities of the finest Oloroso Sherry giving notes of dried fruit and spice. |
