Description: | Winemaker Notes\r\n\r\nFruit forward aromatics of ripe raspberries and cherry cola that transition into a medley of dark blackberry, pomegranate, and black pepper on the palate. A nice tannin structure.\r\nAbout Lincourt\r\nThere are many sources of tribute and inspiration for Lincourt. First, there is the name of the winery, a fusion of Lindsay and Courtney, owner Bill Foley\u2019s daughters. Then there are the small-lot bottlings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that bear the names of the women who have influenced and shaped Bill Foley\u2019s life including his wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Finally, there are the two estate vineyards located within the Sta. Rita Hills region of Santa Barbara County. This area was largely unknown when the winery was founded in 1996, but today it is one of the most coveted, cool-climate AVAs in all of California.\r\nHand-Crafted Wines from Start to Finish\r\n\r\n \t\r\nWe harvest fruit based on flavors, not numbers\r\n\r\n \t\r\nSmall-lot fermentations\r\n\r\n \t\r\nFrench oak barrels\r\n\r\n \t\r\nWinemaker Lorna Kreutz is involved in every step of the winemaking process\r\n\r\n \t\r\nIndividual lots kept separate until final blending\r\n\r\n \t\r\n100% Santa Barbara County\r\n\r\n \t\r\nEstate Vineyards in Santa Ynez: Alamo Pintado (Sauvignon Blanc) and La Cuesta (Cabernet, Merlot)\r\n\r\n \t\r\nEstate Vineyards in Santa Rita Hills: Rancho Las Hermanas and Rancho Santa Rosa (Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Syrah) |
