| Description: | The French have recently been heaping a lot of praise on this biodynamic winery located just east of Colmar in the heart of Alsace. Thirty-five-year-old vines grown in gravel and clay give a fleshy and fruity wine. A heavy dose of Auxerrois contributes some roundness with flavors of fuji apple, peach blossom, lemon custard and fresh biscuit aromas. A barely detectable amount of Rs on this provides structure while the acidity leaves a mouthwatering finish. |
