| Description: | Refosco has a long history of cultivation in Napa Valley with much of it being mistaken for Mondeuse, and mostly non-existent in vineyards today. These clipping originated from Italy and were planted in the 1990's, bearing the Estate fruit for this 100% Refosco. The grape is naturally soft in tannins and juicy in character, so the fruit shows a level of earthiness and depth from the hands of Steve's meticulous farming. Savory, dark, fruity, spicy, and earthy. Just 90 cases made from 5 rows of vines. |
