| Description: | This whisky is produced in a way that is totally unique: rye, barley and corn are individually fermented, distilled in small batches (in a copper pot still) and aged in oak barrels 'selected' for their specific character (light char for the rye; medium char for the barley; heavy char for the corn). Each barrel imbues its spirit with a cornucopia of subtleties before being blended together into 'Barrel Select'. The aromas lead with ripe peaches, apricot and quince stewed with honey; there is also light vanilla andgentle spice. The flavor starts with the delicate tones implied on the nose then build in intensity to articulate deliciously vibrant wood spices. The finish is slight and clean with a lingering rye tone.
