If you are unfamiliar with Corpinnat, think of it as "Growers" Cava, in which the growers don't sell to the large negotiants and make sparkling wine from their own vineyards, focusing on terroir driven wines. Based heavily off of the Xarel-lo grape, giving the wine structure, leaning on lightly oxidative aromas of blanched almonds, biscuits, and orange marmalade. Fresher apple and floral aromas are clean with vibrant acidity. |
