But in the glass, an array of legs form and run quickly; at a rate and quantity appropriately between those of unaged white rums and rums matured longer in oak. When it comes to sniffing, despite its Dry moniker, Brugals aged premium white rum exhibits a momentary sweet bouquet on clean ethyl alcohol. Then, aromas of oaken vanilla, butterscotch, mild caramel, subtle pear and coconut appear. A sweet taste like fresh sugarcane greets the front of your tongue, proving that even with color filtered out, cane flavor survives. Next, a pleasantly medium weight body spreads flavors of mild vanilla and coconut across your palate. The sipping experience ends quite dry with a the lingering finish.
