| Description: | La Fleur-Pétrus has been in the Moueix family since 1950, when Jean-Pierre Moeuix purchased the estate. Today the management and winemaking is overseen by his talented son Christian, and LFP is considered the jewel in the Moueix stable. The vineyard is located in between Chateaux Lafleur and Pétrus, giving La Fleur-Pétrus its name, and is planted to mostly Merlot with Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. La Fleur-Pétrus offers Bordeaux lovers one of the best classicly-wrought, elegant yet rich wines of the Right Bank. |
