Description: | 94 JS / 94 Wci / 93 Fs / 92 Jd / 91 Wi / 90 De / 16.5 Jr. This is already very complex with tobacco, blackberries and hints of cedar. It's medium-bodied with firm and layered tannins. Juicy and so delicious. It can age, too. Delightful now, but better after 2025.-James Suckling. Dark, deep, rich, earthy, chocolatey, tobacco-stained black currants that caress your palate with a serious depth of flavor, density, richness, and density. This has just entered the start of its drinking window. Drink from 2023-2035.-Jeff Leve, Wine Cellar Insider, tasted 9/23. Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, subtle rim brightening. Delicate liquorice, ripe red cherry fruit, some cassis and candied orange zest in the background. Medium complexity, delicate dried plums, fresh acidity, blackberry fruit on the finish, mineral aftertaste, already easy to drink.-Peter Moser, Falstaff |
