Description:	Los vascos' sauvignon blanc is made from grapes purchased on long term contracts with growers in the casablanca and curico regions. The vintages all offer very pure fruit and a lively refreshing palate. This wine has remarkable aromatic expression in the bouquet with lemon grapefruit and exotic fruit enhanced by the characteristic boxwood aroma of the sauvignon. A frost-free spring with warm temperatures gave way to a rainless summer with historical peaks of 39. 6° c during march. In the spring light rains helped to retain the soil's moisture without affecting the grapes. Total rainfall between may and august was 418 mm. Tasting notes (at bottling) pale yellow colour with glints of green. The nose offers aromas of fresh pineapple pear green apple and honeydew melon combined with citrus notes of grapefruit and lime and hints of tarragon and thyme.
