| Description: | The highly regarded Bordeaux firm of Jean-Pierre Moueix purchased this estate in 1952, and today the management and winemaking is overseen by the talented Christian Moueix. The vineyard is located in between Chateaux Lafleur and Petrus, giving Lafleur-Petrus its name, and is planted to 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. An additional parcel purchased in 1995 formerly belonged to Chateau Le Gay and is adjacent to Petrus. The quality at the estate has continued to get better and better, and La Fleur Petrus offers one of the best classicly-wrought, elegant and rich wines of the Right Bank.
