| Description: | Deep red with ruby glints, this racy wine has pleasant aromas of red fruits backed by a firm but elegant tannic structure becoming more supple when matured. Raspberry, strawberry, cherry gradually give way to underbrush, spices (tobacco) and leather. Pleasantly round and very firm, this is a powerful, meaty wine. At the table, this wine will accompany good traditional cuisine based on simmered meats and vegetables, grilled meats, entrecôtes or cuts of beef, fondue bourguignonne, braised lamb or in sauce, minces and gratins, cheeses. You will appreciate it for the youth of these chewable fruits or after five to eight years for its maturity. |
