| Description: | This special bottling comes from the estate's Gratius vineyard, with mixed planting of mature-vine Sangiovese, Canaiolo and Colorino. With just a year of aging in oak (barriques and tonneaux), there's a bit more focus on the rustic charm of the fruit that takes you back to old Tuscany. Dark-toned and rich for its medium-full weight, the softly grainy tannins and inner vibrancy drive the wine. While it's still in its early stages, these textural contrasts are working together right now. Dark fruits, Iron-rich clay earthiness and blonde tobacco notes are classic for the warm hills of Panzano in Chianti.
