Four Graces Pinot Blanc Willamette Valley

Vintage: 2016
Description: The Vintage : The 2016 vintage was defined by its early start, moderate temperatures and overall high quality. The season began with a warmer than average winter which led to an early spring and bud break. Temperatures remained warm yet moderate in the summer months, with no extreme heat spikes. These conditions allowed for even ripening, balanced vines and opulent flavor development. The early start to the growing season and consistently warm summer led to one of the earliest harvests on record. The fruit had smaller berry size and moderate yields, with harvest occurring from September 9th - September 23rd, 2016. The Source : The grapes for The Four Graces Pinot Blanc come from our Foley Family Estate vineyard, Niederberger Vineyard and Elvenglade vineyard in the Willamette Valley. The Wine : This 2016 Pinot Banc is light, fresh and lively. It begins with fragrant aromas of orange blossom, yellow peach and river rock. The palate has a pleasing acidity that balances flavors of Asian pear and mandarins. Elegant and finessed, this is a beautiful accompaniment to a cream brie or fresh cod.
