| Description: | 100% Cinsault. Wine Advocate 96 Points - "There's also a 2019 Miles, dedicated, as you can guess, to Miles Davis, produced with grapes from an old vineyard in the zone of Guarilihue in Itata. In Parra's opinion, it's the most complete and balanced of the ones he vinifies, very decomposed granite, very rocky with a little iron and sandy clay texture. The wine was vinified with 100% full clusters and indigenous yeasts and matured in an oak vat for 10 months. This and the Newk are the grand crus, different labels and different prices. To Parra, this is Vosne-Romane and the Newk is Chambolle-Musigny. This feels very complete and deep. It's floral, perfumed and spicy, medium-bodied and with velvety tannins. This is superb for a first vintage of this vineyard, which is the first one he started working in Guarilihue. The grapes were part of the Imaginador blend until 2018, when he rented the vineyard and started working it with a horse and no chemicals. This is superb, very complete. " |
