McPrice Myers has access to truly exceptional vineyards that are producing some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in the state, so it just made sense to add Cab to the Beautiful Earth series of wines. By placing long term agreements with the vineyard owners, he's able to secure the best plots. That, along with his skills and phenomenal blending palate, is how he is able to produce high-scoring wines that sell for less than other wines of similar scores. There is no expense spared on this wine, and even though it saw 60% new French oak (something typically reserved for $100 and up Cabs), this gem sells closer to the $50 price-point! On top of that, respected critic Erin Brooks has rated this at 96 points, and noted the wine has "fireworks" and "a long, layered finish."
