Produced from their 8-acre parcel of vines high on Diamond Creek Mountain, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Volcanic Hill exhibits a dense ruby/purple color along with abundant notes of blueberries, black raspberries, graphite, earth and burning embers. Rich, medium to full-bodied, pure and dense, it possesses a Bordeaux-like personality as well as tremendous up-side potential.
