| Description: | Introduced in the mid-1980s, the Fireball brand made its debut as part of Seagram's line of flavored schnapps after which it was released as a standalone product before being sold to the Sazerac Company in 1989. Said to have been developed by a Canadian bartender who, in an effort to recover some warmth after spending some time in an Arctic blast, decided to mix Canadian whisky with a fair bit of cinnamon thus unwittingly creating what would become one of the most popular cinnamon liqueurs in the market today. |
