The wine does an amazing job of showing an earthy profile of mountain herbs, cracked pepper, leather, pencil shaving, and cigar box, while dark fruits of blackcurrants, and black cherries provide a lifted freshness. A stellar showing of "mountain fruit" that should be appealing to both Bordeaux drinkers as well as Napa/Sonoma drinkers. |
