| Description: | Luján de Cuyo was the first Appellation of Origin for Argentine wines. The D.o.c. classification signifies that all the grapes come from Lujan de Cuyo, and have had an aging process of at least one year in oak barrels and one year of bottle aging before release. The grapes for the D.o.c. come from Bodega Norton's Agrelo, Perdriel, and Lunlunta estate vineyards, all located within the boundaries of the Lujan de Cuyo wine growing region. Tasting Notes: Deep ruby! High-pitched aromas of dark berries, violet and bitter chocolate suggest a concentrated wine. Then juicy and intense but a bit clenched on the palate, with its blackberry and licorice flavors complicated by notes of leather and dried plum and energized by a strong impression of acidity. |
