| Description: | Ric Forman mostly stays out of the spotlight, but his 55 years of wine making in Napa have contributed immensely to the current state of wine in the valley. Barrel fermented in Burgundy barrels and left to age sur-lees, then aged 9 months. Rich and creamy, tropical, citrus, crème brûlée, and all of the California Chard markers are here. Light and restrained on the back end as malo is intentionally blocked to keep the wines from being too weighty. Impeccable balance. |
