| Description: | The Clos de la Perrière is a single five hectare parcel, a true clos, surrounded by a wall in Fixin. Bénigne Joliet considers that there are four separate terroirs here and each is vinified and aged separately and blended just before bottling. The soil varies with stoney limestone, clay, a mix of clay and limestone and then the area near the woods at the top of the slope is cooler than the rest of the vineyard. |
