| Description: | Freisa, akin to Nebbiolo, it keeps its acid and has a strong tannin profile making it a wine built for ageability. All foot stomped and fermented whole cluster in concrete tanks but moved to neutral barrique for a year to soften the tannin profile then bottle-aged for another 6 months prior to the release. Tobacco and tea spiced with a tart strawberry core. If Graillot made Freisa in Crozes Hermitage we think this is what it would taste like. |
