| Description: | This new expression matures first in first-fill bourbon barrels, followed by a finish in Oloroso Sherry casks. The result is aromas of dried figs and currents followed by Christmas spices such as nutmeg and cinnamon, dark chocolate and a hint of leather, the company reports. On the palate is Demerara sugar, dark ripe cherries and black raspberry, followed by dark chocolate shavings and red apples. The finish contains lingering oak notes with a hint of leather and clove spice. |
