Each new batch is an original with its own unique taste profile, and carefully crafted and blended to become a cult sensation. Kentucky Owl Batch #4, 10 Year Rye is a final release for this premium series, and notably referred to as 'The Last Rye' offering a blend of Kentucky straight rye that has been aged for 10 to 13+ years in new charred oak barrels. The blend entices the front palate with a rich, thick and syrupy mouthfeel. Luring aromas of freshly baked gingersnap cookies showcase the rye spice, with a growing sweetness on the nose and fruit-forward nuances of cherry pie filling, candied oranges, grenadine syrup and strawberry cobbler. A long finish lingers with layers of rich oak, roasted almonds, caramel brittle and spiced dark cherry. |
