Usually one of the palest Barolos in the glass, it shows its typical wild-strawberry and peony aromas, together with sweet violets, cinnamon, burned plastic-like smokiness and vermouth-like intensity. Great concentration on the full-bodied palate with velvety, creamy tannins. Refreshing, slightly lifted acidity and am elegant, filigree finish. Drinkable now, but best in a decade. |
