| Description: | Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company is a new local craft beer brewery located in Croydon, Pa. Yes, we do use Neshaminy Creek water in all our brews. The Neshaminy is a tributary of the Delaware, so by default, we do use Neshaminy Creek water as our water source, as do any of the eight breweries in Philadelphia county that source their water from the Pwd. For those brewers out there that are interested, our water profile has 80 ppm Calcium, 70 ppm Magnesium, 20 ppm Sulfate, and an effective alkalinity of 40 ppm when measuring CaC03 with a pH of 8.4 from the tap. We filter all our brewing water down to 50 microns to remove any Chlorine and other treatments done by the water authority. |
