| Description: | Pergolaia is the estates second wine, a classic Tuscan blend based on Sangoivese with minor percentages of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Depending on vintage, it constitutes forty to sixty percent of production. The coastal climate brings the Sangoivese fruit to plush ripeness, and the ancillary varieties lend depth, structure and complexity. Wine Advocate 91-93 Points - " Tasted from vat. This wine opens to a mid-weight approach and a bright bouquet colored by notes of cherry, wild plum, tilled earth and pressed violet or blue flower.
