| Description: | Through thoughtful experimentation, Apprentice Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie sought to create a Balvenie with heightened sweetness and fruitiness. This led to the idea of importing Virgin Oak barrels from Kentucky, which were then expertly toasted at The Balvenie Cooperage and filled with Balvenie previously aged in ex-bourbon barrels. The resulting whisky is a wonderfully intricate blend of flavors, including candied fruit, coconut, and subtle hints of vanilla.
