| Description: | This is a Cru Beaujolais from a single climate within the Moulin-a-Vent appellation. The Champ de Cour is a Clos (walled vineyard) at the base of the slope just below the famous windmill. Vines here struggle in poor soils of decomposed pink granite with sand and silt. All fruit is manually harvested, rigorously sorted, fermented with natural yeasts, and aged in oak barrels for 10 months. |
