| Description: | Sourced from the estate on Howell Mountain, a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petite Verdot is added for depth and roundness. As expected from an herbal grape grown in this mountainous Ava, the fruit plays a secondary role in the aromas and flavors of the wine. Leather, sage, figs, dates, roasted chestnuts and dry aged beef are rounded out by cedar/cigar box aromas. A bold texture has a perfect balance of tannins and extending dark fruit flavors. |
