| Description: | Founded by San Antonio native Bert Butler "Tito" Beveridge, Tito's was the result of one man's determination to create his own brand of vodka. Without much cash or distilling know-how, all Tito had was a piece of advice given to him by one of his potential clients which were to make vodka "so smooth you could drink it straight". Choosing to bootstrap his business rather than borrow the necessary funding, he taught himself to distill and even manufactured his own stills all while slowly developing his recipe for the smoothest vodka on the market.
