Niizawa Shuzo Atago No Matsu Tokubetsu Sake 720ml

Description: Prefecture: Miyagi. Rice Variety: Yamada Nishiki. Rice Polishing Ratio (amount Of Rice Left On The Grain/seimaibuai): 60%. Sake Meter Value (dryness Scale): +5 (dry). Alcohol/abv: 15.5%. This crisp, clean, easy-going sake features faint aromas of Juicy Fruit Gum,(jackfruit, fresh red apple, and a hint of clove), and is made by noneother than Niizawa Shuzo, Miyagi's famous brewery, the same one that brings us "Super 7," so, excellent pedigree and a superb sake-making team is behind it. This sake is made with "Grade A" Yamada Nishiki from Hyogo, some of the most highly sought after rice in the country, and almost always used in more premium sake styles. Think of that as a free upgrade! It is a solid sake that can accompany any meal and excels with light and clean dishes such as scallops and amberjack. Enjoy this chilled, heated, or at room temperature. Same label since 1862. We love it!. Importer Notes: "a remarkably elegant honjozo popular with local Miyagi drinkers, this is made from premium Yamada Nishiki rice milled to 60%. A vibrant aroma of tropical fruit and wild strawberries gives way to a floral and herbal profile that finishes dry."
