| Description: | Grauburgunder may sound unfamiliar, but most everybody knows it by its other name, Pinot Gris. The grape takes on a whole different dimension in Germany, with the more northernly latitude. Candle wax, yellow flowers, Fuji apples, and honeydew melon. The palate shows some weight from a small amount of RS, but this is necessary to balance the high acid and bitterness from half a day of maceration. |
