| Description: | 1/2 Syrah, 1/4 Grenache. Organic, 45 year old vineyard. Concrete tank ferment and aged, no stems. As is typical of 2015 Southern Rhones, this is a big, powerful red. Dark ruby color, loads of black and blueberries, dark cocoa, black pepper, touch of licorice and cinnamon. Tannins coat the palate while the flavor sticks around. Great match with lamb, goat & boar. |
