| Description: | Part of a new project from Raúl Pérez called La Vizcaina, where he explores the terroir of Bierzo through single-vineyard wines. La Poulosa is a site a little further down and east-facing, so it receives more heat and the wines are bigger, fuller, and riper. The mid-palate is especially luscious, with a crunchy core and a long, spicy finish. There's a drying tannic structure to the wine that makes it quite tight right now – let this wine open up and express itself over the course of an evening. |
