Description:	Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera with bits of Albarossa, Freisa and Pinot Noir. Scents of red fruits, plums, and underbrush with floral and spicy hints; a corresponding palate with almond, black pepper and Asian spices. Renowned for artful Nebbiolo extraction, Vajra produces fresh, fruit-driven wines with profound aromatic depth, a difficult task since Nebbiolo tends toward the tannic end of the spectrum when grown in the compressed sandstone soils that dominate Serralunga d'Alba and Monforte d'Alba. Frankly, it is impossible to go wrong with any of these superb bottles.". Winemaker's Notes : Our Langhe Rosso is a hug from Piedmont. It's an invitation to explore its different varieties and to get to know its personality. From young vineyards, it is a fruity delicately complex wine: an ideal companion at the table. Red with violet hues anticipate the ripeness of dark fruits and refined elegance. Intense and rich on the nose, it is both concentrated and harmonious: flowers and fruits to give way to hay, tobacco, spices. Bright summer berries on the palate with graphite veins lead to the discovery of a series of sensations.
