Harvest Date: 17 September 2012. Yield: 55 hl/ha. Vinification:. Per Due comes from several Wolfsgraben's vineyard sites, the Wolfs Den, is nestled in a scenic area and has a long history. On a high plateau, the vineyards are planted against the slope of a deep depression, a bowl. Archives from 1284 describe this vineyard as being located against a slope, with a rich loamy soil, growing thriving vines and fruits producing exceptional wines. The grapes are handpicked and the must fermented in stainless steel temperature controlled tanks. The wine was bottled as early as the 1st of March 2013 in order to preserve the freshness from the fruits. Tasting Notes:. Color: Light and clear. Nose: Fruity with flowery notes and spice. Palate: In the mouth it is luscious with the typical fruity notes found in GrĂ¼ner Veltliners with some spice and citrus. It is crisp and well structured.
