| Description: | Located just north of the much more famous AOC of Gigondas, the appellation of Sablet shares similar soils, but unlike Gigondas they are permitted to grow/make white wines. The Grenache Blanc mono varietal is a fairly new wine from the house, delivering on what you are assuming, rich and waxy with stone fruits, Daisies, Tulips, Meyer lemon, and a pleasant nuttiness. Fermentation in oak Demi-muid rounds out the wine, adding a vanilla quality and softening the naturally high acid. |
