| Description: | Gobelsburg goes way back to the 1100's when the Cistercian Monks (of Burgundy fame) were granted their first vineyards in the region. The rosé is a blend of Zweigelt, St Laurent, and Pinot Noir grown in Niederösterreich on the cooler sites of loess soils, lending the wine an almost spritzy edge from the acidity. Wild strawberries, watermelon, hints of cream on the nose, as well as rhubarb, herbs and red cherry. |
