This 2016 is just the second edition of this magical but unfortunately rare bottling. Lclapart's Aphrodisiaque Cuve is defined as: "capable of arousing sexual desire." This is a complex and meticulous blend of all the House's cuves in the most difficult years. It is a mix of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir 100% vinified in used Leflaive barrels. Its fine bubbles release an appealing nose featuring aromas of sweet-ripe citrus fruits, peach and red berries backed with notes of roasted nuts and some baked apple. A very complex palate in the mouth showing citrus spice and profound minerality with a lot of tension as well as great length and grace. |
