| Description: | This Dolcetto, the workhorse grape of Piedmont is sourced from two plots in Monforte d'Alba with an average age of 40-years-old. Aged for 10 months in stainless steel, this is a pure expression of the grape's fruity character and firm structure. Dark cherries, leather, earth, pomegranate and tobacco. Bright acidity and chalky tannins co-mingle with alpine herbs and red berries. One of the finest examples of the grape, which shows its accessibility as well as classic Piedmont characteristics. |
