| Description: | Though it may come in a tall thin bottle and h ave "Muscat" in its name, Muscadet has nothing to do with the sweet wines these elements may suggest. Made from the Melon grape and grown on chalky soils, Muscadet is a dry, white drinker's dry, white. That being said, Hersandiere has bolstered this lean and precise frame with quite a bit of ripe and vibrant "meat on the bone" fruit character. That is to say this is a dry and piercing white with plenty of ripe pears, melons and even passion fruit. The best of both worlds? The white wine of your dreams? The solution to your dinner party white dilemma? Yessir, yup and uh huh. |
