This proprietary blend offers an exotic aroma profile consisting of dark fruits, intriguing spices, tar, cola and smoke. On the palate, the wine is full bodied and rich with silky tannins and a distinctively lengthy finish. Created to be our Steakhouse wine the Grand Cheval is bold enough for the richest of dishes, yet soft enough to please any palate. Varietal:Syrah/Pinot. Harvest Date:October 1-17, 2012. Barrel Aging:. 17 Months. Alcohol %:14.3 Region Description. Stretches from Portland in the north to Eugene in the south. A majority of the Willamette Valley vineyards lie on the foothills of the Coast Range that forms the western edge of the valley. |
