| Description: | This is a special wine because of how low the yields were in Napa Valley in the 2020 vintage due to the horrible fires that ravaged the valley that year. Jill and Steve Matthiasson assessed the wind patterns and the ripeness of their fruit and decided to start harvesting after the first set of fires and were able to avoid smoke taint with all of their fruit. This wine is a blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon, 4 % Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc, aged in <20% new French Oak and showcases high toned fruit and a purity and freshness I've come to love. |
