| Description: | This Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend from our single vineyard properties, predominantly sourced from the St. Helena AVA. The wine aged 20 months in 80% new French oak barrels. It boasts a rich garnet color. The nose is reminiscent of brambleberries, graphite, and blue fruit. With an expressive aroma of violets and licorice with a touch of Herbes de Provence. The palate is full-bodied and delivers subtle cedar notes, holiday spice, and black fruits, with an undertone of dark currants and cherries. The rich texture dissolves tannins, striking the mid-palate intensely front to back with great tension. The finish is long and stunning, with a hint of acidity and sweetness from the French oak. Enjoy over the next 15-20 years. |
