| Description: | 92 pts Wine Enthusiast Feb 2021 This wine offers oodles of plush, plump plum and cherry accented by flowers, peppery spice, soy and iron. The palate delivers what the nose suggests. It's broad shouldered but neatly cupped by fine, chalky tannins. There's a lucidity here thanks to minimal oak. Tangy fruit and a saline note carry the finish. It's a charming example of modern Barossa Shiraz. 91 pts James Suckling Sept 2020 Plenty of rich dark berries and some currant-like notes, too. There's a glossy feel with some fragrant elements (a little co-fermented roussanne and viognier). Attractive dark-plum and berry palate. Really vinous with a fresh finish. Drink now. |
