| Description: | Definition: aged rum with a two-stage maturing process. Alcoholic content: 37,5% ABV. Production: first resting for ve years in the Caribbean, inside American oak casks. Later shipped to the facilities of the Williams & Humbert winery in Jerez (Andalucia - Spain) where it undergoes the nal stage of ageing, which lasts for three years, in casks which have previously been used to age the international award-winning sherry \"Dos Cortados\" with a guaranteed age of 20 years as: certified by the Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xérès-Sherry. Awards won by Dos Maderas 5+3:. Bronze medal at the International Rum Festival (San Francisco) 2008. Silver medal at the San Francisco World Spirit Competition 2008. Dividing the aging process into two different stages converts Dos Maderas 5+3 into a very special aged rum which is unique in the world, with a bouquet, avor and aromas which are hard to compare. Toasted aromas in the mouth, with hints of vanilla and nut. Extremely smooth and elegant on the nose.
