| Description: | The 2018 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru shows a little more volatility on the nose compared to its peers, a little diffusive at the moment. There is an iodine aspect that develops in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins. Good depth and grip, sweet red fruit tinged with marmalade, though it lacks the grandeur and ambition of Lignier-Michelot's Clos de la Roche. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 red tasting. |
